We were commissioned for this project in early summer 2021 by a local architect who specialises in Span Houses in the area. The project was to refurbish a 1950’s span house and modernise the interior, exterior and garden room.

Span houses were the brainchild of architect Eric Lyons and were designed from a singular blueprint with a view to rolling them out multiple times. It was a unique challenge to work on a property of this mid-century period and certainly proved a learning curve.
